Google Launched Affordable AI Plus Subscription Plan, Access to Veo 3 Fast, and more.
Google has recently introduced a new subscription level for its artificial intelligence (AI) services. Known as Google AI Plus, the tech corporation based in Mountain View is currently rolling out this offering exclusively in Indonesia, with plans to expand it to other developing markets in the future. The pricing is positioned between the complimentary tier and the AI Pro Plan, with features modified correspondingly. Importantly, this new tier is now the most affordable option for accessing the company’s Veo 3 Fast video generation AI model.
Google AI Plus Subscription Cost, Promotional Discount.
In a recent blog post, the technology firm introduced the Google AI Plus subscription plan and highlighted the benefits it offers to consumers. Available solely in Indonesia at the moment, it costs IDR 75,000 (approximately Rs. 400) monthly. Furthermore, for the first six months, subscribers will enjoy a 50 percent discount on the subscription price. For comparison, the Google AI Pro plan in India is available for Rs. 1,950, while the AI Ultra plan is priced at Rs. 24,500 monthly.

Regarding the advantages, Google states that users will have greater access to the Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model compared to the free tier, but not as much as those on the AI Pro and Ultra tiers. The standard Gemini AI model in the application and website is also available with a 128K token context window for this tier, whereas in the free tier, the model is restricted to just 32K tokens.

Notably, with the launch of the Google AI Plus plan, it has now become the most economical option for generating AI video using the Veo 3 Fast model, which is not accessible for those using the free tier of the service. The daily rate limit was not disclosed by the company.

The Gemini side panel will be available to users of the Google AI Plus plan in a number of Workspace apps, such as Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive. Additionally, users will also gain access to the video creation tool Flow and the image-to-video generation application Whisk. These subscribers will receive 200 GB of cloud storage across Drive, the Photos app, and Gmail.
